Test Sponge

 Test Sponge

The Test sponge when used in conjunction with the Healthedge ATP monitoring system, is the only product available that can provide an accurate measure of the level of contaminants present inside the channels of your scopes and cannulated instruments.

Procedure for use of the test Sponge

Turn on the ATP monitor and select the program number that relates to your scope.

Unload the scope from the AER and select the channel you wish to swab.

Select the correct size of test sponge.

Unwrap the sponge and insert the foam end into the channel of the scope.

Leaving the sponge in the scope, remove the swab from the plastic tube. Being careful not to let the swabs or the sponge come into contact with any contaminate, remove the sponge from the scope and place the sponge end into the top of the plastic tube.

Using a sharp pair of scissors, snip the plastic guide lead half an inch from the sponge and allow it to drop into the plastic tube.

Replace the swab firmly into the plastic tube and snap the top of the swab to release the reagent. Place the swab in the monitor and press ok

After 15 seconds you will get a reading.

The Test sponge is available in sizes ,1mm ,1.5mm ,2mm ,3mm  and 4mm.
