Flexible and rigid scopes with hard to access internal channels pose a unique challenge for monitoring cleanliness. For this reason Ruhof created the Test® InstruSponge™ an absorbent swab on a flexible wand, which feeds into the internal channels of a scope allowing you for the first time to get an accurate indication of remaining bioburden. The Test® InstruSponge™ used in conjunction with the Genie Hygiene monitoring system can provide an accurate numerical reading of the level of contaminants present inside the channels of your scopes and cannulated instruments after cleaning. Each Test® InstruSponge™ is clinically clean, individually packaged for single use and comes in various sizes to suit the diameter opening of your scope channel or instrument cannula, ranging from 1mm–5mm. Test® InstruSponge™ can test even your smallest scopes (ENT, Rhinoscopes, Nasopharyngoscopes, Uretero Scopes, Laryngoscopes, Pediatric Scopes, Hysteroscopes, etc.).
